Idoven is a health technology company advancing early detection and precision medicine for cardiovascular diseases.

The Idoven AI-powered platform promises substantial improvements to the speed, consistency and accuracy of electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation. Its powerful, proprietary AI algorithms, which work with existing ECG devices, are also being applied to develop disease biomarkers towards patient identification, risk stratification and prognosis, as well as drug cardiac safety monitoring.

Idoven partners with leading medical device and pharmaceutical companies on AI-driven innovations to develop a new standard of cardiovascular care. Willem is a cloud-based, AI-powered software that analyses ECGs of any duration and from any device. The software aids clinicians in the triage and detection of arrhythmias and cardiovascular diseases from ECGs, as well as identifying patients at increased risk of developing atrial fibrillation.

Our software is designed to be integrated seamlessly into existing clinical workflows, to support clinician decision making and disease management. Idoven differentiators:

– Most comprehensive solution to triage and detect cardiac arrhythmias: Willem standardizes the diagnosis of over 80 of the most frequent cardiac patterns, affecting 90% of the global population.

– Cardiologist-level accuracy: Willem aids physicians to make an accurate diagnosis for every patient, every time, from anywhere (in the hospital, at home or on the move). Willem operates at over 90% global accuracy.

– Prediction of atrial fibrillation: Our AI models can predict the evolution of atrial fibrillation for a patient within the next 6 months, even for patients with no prior history, with just physiological data.

– Device-neutral approach: Through APIs, Willem can integrate with any existing ECG hardware, hospital system or electronic health record (EHR). Our AI platform can read any ECG signal format (JSON, DICOM, EDF, CSV among others).

Device types include ambulatory and holter ECGs, resting ECGs, stress tests ECGs, mobile cardiac telemetry (MCOT), insertable loop recorder (ILR), intracardiac electrocardiograms (EGMs) from implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs or CRT-D) or pacemakers and wearables/smartwatches..

– Highest safeguards for patient data: We are certified for the highest internationally-recognized standards for information security management systems (ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, 27701). Our analysis is performed on de-identified studies and anonymized/pseudo anonymized patient data.

– Delivery in seconds/minutes, not hours/days: Willem can deliver a result in seconds for short-duration ECGs and in 3 minutes for 24 hour holters.

Expectations:

  • We are seeking to be part of a consortium with similar values with whom we can align to deliver our ECG AI analysis solution to address the telerehabilitation challenges that ROSIA proposes. Specifically, Idoven is a strong software partner in the following areas:
  • Remote patient monitoring platforms connecting physicians and patients with chronic conditions (such as stroke, heart failure, cancer, chronic kidney disease), which require frequent and standardized ECG monitoring.
  • Manufacturers of ECG devices that enable remote heart monitoring (including ambulatory and holter ECGs, rest ECGs, stress tests ECGs, MCOT, ILR, wearables/smartwatches, implantable cardiac monitors, cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs or CRT-D) and pacemakers).
  • Pharmaceutical companies seeking to monitor the effectiveness, safety and adherence to protocol of treatments remotely.

Our current products include MDCL Streamline (diabetes hospital clinic application) and our Diabetes Retinopathy Artificial Intelligence analysis model. We can deliver both standalone windows desktop applications and full stack browser based solutions for hospital clinics such as diabetes in bespoke or reconfigurable formats.

Our primary goal is to provide data analytics for the healthcare sector in the form of SaMD and to ultimately deliver a predictive analytics product that will enable healthcare professionals to act preventatively before minor illness become seriosserious.

A major endeavour of our company is to build the cornerstone applications that will empower and facilitate patients to better manage and improve their conditions.

We have jointly presented a poster at the Irish Endocrine Society 2019 and more recently published a diabetes retinopathy poster in conjunction with the nimbus research center.

The ROSIA-PCP project very much aligns with the progress we wish achieve and that path to progression we wish to fulfil as a company.

Our primary focus is medical data management, analysis, usage and storage. We have expertise in diabetes clinic management, integration, machine learning and user experience design.

Our CMO, Fíona O’Ciobhaín, has over 18 years’ experience in the patient rehabilitation sector and we are now focussing on end user testing specifically in the area of people with disabilities and patients currently in rehabilitation programs.

Expectations:

  • In the context of this collaborative project, we are looking toward solutions providers like ourselves and especially those that have delivered Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions.
  • As a micro company MDCL, we are hoping to find a larger company with a similar corporate value system with whom we can align to form a consortium to deliver a tele rehabilitation solution that offers real benefits to the end users.

We are specialised in platform for the telemonitoring of frail individuals (older people, chronic patients, people in rehabilitation after an hospitalisation episode). We have started our activities in 2007 and our systems Health Insight Solutions GmbH have been installed in 14 European countries.

Since 2008, we are the suppliers of telemonitoring solutions to the Barbastro Health Sector in Aragon which is one of the ROSIA pilot sites.

Expectations:

  • We would like to be part of a consortium which values our long-term relationship with the Barbastro Health Sector and our understanding of the local context there. Our interest in the project making our telemonitoring platform ROSIA-compliant and to integrate it with disease-specific devices and apps.
  • We can also support the coordinator with our PCP experience having already participated as Lead Supplier in five PCP tenders, three of which have been successful.
  • In the case of ROSIA we have discarded the idea of leading again a consortium because we lack competence in too many areas relevant for the project.
  • If requested, we can also provide competence in change management in the care field and in impact evaluation of Technology Enabled Care interventions, either directly or through organisation we have a close relationship with.

Euleria Health was born in February 2020 with the aim of creating innovative solutions that lead patients and professionals towards a more measurable and accessible rehabilitation, from the clinic to home. A difficult and ambitious task, in a world that was literally transforming itself under the blows of the pandemic, but which we decided to carry out with courage and determination.

In 2022, after the great results reached in 2020 and 2021, I.A.C.E.R. srl, a leading company in home therapies, invested in Euleria Health and entered the company structure, bringing together with the current partners, new finance necessary to develop and transform the tele-rehabilitation market in Europe.

Euleria Health offering is composed by two lines of medical devices, graded class 1/m, Riablo and Kari. All products and services are based on inertial measurement units (thanks to the strong partnership with Movella Xsens) and interactive software entirely developed internally.

Riablo is a tool aimed at supporting the professional in rehabilitation and reactivation and in patient evaluation. Riablo supports the professional thanks to the measurement and consequent objectification of the activities related to the exercise therapy to be carried out in the clinic.

Kari is a tool designed to help professionals support home exercise therapy for patients of various kinds. The app for the patient provides a video guide of all the exercises to be performed, and a simple real-time feedback obtained from the sensor worn and connected via bluetooth.

At the end of each exercise, the patient receives a score proportional to the ability to perform the movement correctly both in terms of amplitude and consistency with the timing shown by the video.

  • Euleria Health has a strong background in rehabilitation and tele-rehabilitation, with a great expertise in software design and development. The team has already successfully participated and completed other PCPs projects on tele-rehabilitation and fragile patients. McCormick Northburgh has conducted several focus groups with a ‘looks like, feels like’ prototype and has received overwhelmingly positive feedback. This project involves a physical product for individuals with weak hand grip, limited dexterity and disabilities that affect hand function (stroke, MS, TBI etc.).

There are 2 aspects to McCormick Northburgh the device:

1) rehabilitation,

2) self management of their condition at home for food preparation.

We want partners to compliment our team and help develop the concept, considering human factors and the usability of the device in order to develop the device.
