The Idoven AI-powered platform promises substantial improvements to the speed, consistency and accuracy of electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation. Idoven partners with leading medical device and pharmaceutical companies on AI-driven innovations to develop a new standard of cardiovascular care. Willem is a cloud-based, AI-powered software that analyses ECGs of any duration and from any device. The software aids clinicians in the triage and detection of arrhythmias and cardiovascular diseases from ECGs, as well as identifying patients at increased risk of developing atrial fibrillation.

Our software is designed to be integrated seamlessly into existing clinical workflows, to support clinician decision making and disease management. Idoven differentiators:

– Most comprehensive solution to triage and detect cardiac arrhythmias: Willem standardizes the diagnosis of over 80 of the most frequent cardiac patterns, affecting 90% of the global population.

– Cardiologist-level accuracy: Willem aids physicians to make an accurate diagnosis for every patient, every time, from anywhere (in the hospital, at home or on the move). Willem operates at over 90% global accuracy.

– Prediction of atrial fibrillation: Our AI models can predict the evolution of atrial fibrillation for a patient within the next 6 months, even for patients with no prior history, with just physiological data.

– Device-neutral approach: Through APIs, Willem can integrate with any existing ECG hardware, hospital system or electronic health record (EHR). Our AI platform can read any ECG signal format (JSON, DICOM, EDF, CSV among others).

Device types include ambulatory and holter ECGs, resting ECGs, stress tests ECGs, mobile cardiac telemetry (MCOT), insertable loop recorder (ILR), intracardiac electrocardiograms (EGMs) from implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs or CRT-D) or pacemakers and wearables/smartwatches..

– Highest safeguards for patient data: We are certified for the highest internationally-recognized standards for information security management systems (ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, 27701). Our analysis is performed on de-identified studies and anonymized/pseudo anonymized patient data.

– Delivery in seconds/minutes, not hours/days: Willem can deliver a result in seconds for short-duration ECGs and in 3 minutes for 24 hour holters.

  • We are seeking to be part of a consortium with similar values with whom we can align to deliver our ECG AI analysis solution to address the telerehabilitation challenges that ROSIA proposes. Specifically, Idoven is a strong software partner in the following areas:
  • Remote patient monitoring platforms connecting physicians and patients with chronic conditions (such as stroke, heart failure, cancer, chronic kidney disease), which require frequent and standardized ECG monitoring.
  • Manufacturers of ECG devices that enable remote heart monitoring (including ambulatory and holter ECGs, rest ECGs, stress tests ECGs, MCOT, ILR, wearables/smartwatches, implantable cardiac monitors, cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs or CRT-D) and pacemakers).

BioMinds XR it is a system that ensures holistic neurological rehabilitation at every stage of the disease and recovery under constant supervision of a specialist – in the period right after falling ill, during rehabilitation at the centre, at home. It provides individually tailored physical, cognitive, and psychological rehabilitation in an augmented reality environment.

The entire system is characterized by the individualization of the therapeutic process, setting the exercises in the scenery of everyday activities while maintaining high graphic quality.

At the same time, using the eye-tracking, EEG, and NFir technology, we enable people with various language problems to start communication with the environment, restoring their ability to function in society.

Additionally, for healthy people it allows to increase cognitive, psychological, and motor performance. Based on many years of experience and market analysis, access to specialized, comprehensive, individualized specialist neurological holistic therapy is not available. Customers need to increase the availability of this form of therapy especially in COVID 19 time.

Therapy, which at the same time is not expensive, but is effective and causes an increase in independence and a sense of satisfaction with the life of the sick person. Existing systems are based on large devices in their size and contain a single therapeutic plane.

This created logistical and functional problems ā€“ the therapeutic process required the use of several tools and hospitals had to adapt the rooms for these systems. The purchase of the system itself meant a significant cost.Ā 

We are an innovative company offering unique, new-generation healthcare solutions which will change rehabilitation for people after stroke or brain damages. BioMinds Healthcare aims to improve the quality of life of the patients and to increase the availability of effective comprehensive therapy.

BioMinds helps speed up the recovery of adults with neurological conditions (strokes and brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, etc.). These are chronic, incurable diseases, requiring long-term motor and cognitive rehabilitation. We are also working on the system to provide access to the solution to us as specialists and members of our families for rehabilitation.

Expectations:

  • We are currently undergoing clinical trials with the product. A product that wins customers in hospitals when we go to them with a request for tests.
  • Currently, metaverse and VR / AR / XR technologies in rehabilitation are gaining increased reputation. Additionally, now the demand for psychological, motor, and cognitive rehabilitation is increasing significantly.
  • We are currently looking for a business partner who understands the medical market ā€“ especially using advanced MedTech technologies.
  • The main area for which we need support is finance and human resources.
  • Thanks to the support of such a partner, we also count on better communication with large hardware partners Meta-Oculus and Microsoft.

Our current products include MDCL Streamline (diabetes hospital clinic application) and our Diabetes Retinopathy Artificial Intelligence analysis model. We can deliver both standalone windows desktop applications and full stack browser based solutions for hospital clinics such as diabetes in bespoke or reconfigurable formats.

Our primary goal is to provide data analytics for the healthcare sector in the form of SaMD and to ultimately deliver a predictive analytics product that will enable healthcare professionals to act preventatively before minor illness become seriosserious.

A major endeavour of our company is to build the cornerstone applications that will empower and facilitate patients to better manage and improve their conditions.

We have jointly presented a poster at the Irish Endocrine Society 2019 and more recently published a diabetes retinopathy poster in conjunction with the nimbus research center.

The ROSIA-PCP project very much aligns with the progress we wish achieve and that path to progression we wish to fulfil as a company.

Our primary focus is medical data management, analysis, usage and storage. We have expertise in diabetes clinic management, integration, machine learning and user experience design.

Our CMO, FĆ­ona Oā€™CiobhaĆ­n, has over 18 yearsā€™ experience in the patient rehabilitation sector and we are now focussing on end user testing specifically in the area of people with disabilities and patients currently in rehabilitation programs.

  • In the context of this collaborative project, we are looking toward solutions providers like ourselves and especially those that have delivered Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) solutions.

We are specialised in platform for the telemonitoring of frail individuals (older people, chronic patients, people in rehabilitation after an hospitalisation episode). We have started our activities in 2007 and our systems Health Insight Solutions GmbH have been installed in 14 European countries.

Since 2008, we are the suppliers of telemonitoring solutions to the Barbastro Health Sector in Aragon which is one of the ROSIA pilot sites.

Expectations:

  • We would like to be part of a consortium which values our long-term relationship with the Barbastro Health Sector and our understanding of the local context there. Our interest in the project making our telemonitoring platform ROSIA-compliant and to integrate it with disease-specific devices and apps.
  • We can also support the coordinator with our PCP experience having already participated as Lead Supplier in five PCP tenders, three of which have been successful.
  • In the case of ROSIA we have discarded the idea of leading again a consortium because we lack competence in too many areas relevant for the project.
  • If requested, we can also provide competence in change management in the care field and in impact evaluation of Technology Enabled Care interventions, either directly or through organisation we have a close relationship with.

The FiberSalud Clinic is specialized in rehabilitative treatment of patients with traumatological and/or neurological injuries.

We have performed rehabilitation treatment on more than a thousand patients, both with conventional techniques (Bobath, Kabat, Perfetti method…), and with the latest technologies (robotic exoskeletons, virtual reality and 3D gait study). We use a technological telerehabilitation platform that allows interactive personalized therapies, with or without a sensor, to assess and evaluate the patient correct performance.

We have recently designed an immersive virtual reality project, based on different cognitive rehabilitation therapies, which boost and accelerate patientā€™s recovery, and enable individual and autonomous patientĀ“s rehabilitation.

The FiberSalud Clinic opened its doors in 2006 in Huesca (a province in the North of Spain, next to Zaragoza province, with population density lower than 17 inhabitant/Km2). We are experts in sports physiotherapy, rheumatology, traumatology and orthopaedics, neurology (Cognoscitive Therapeutic Exercise) and cardiac rehabilitation.

Thousands of patients trusted on us for their rehabilitation treatment during these years. We work on a daily basis with patients from associations such as AECC (Spanish Cancer Association), ASPACE (cerebral palsy patients), VALENTIA (intellectual disability) or A.R.P.E.R (Association for the Permanent Rehabilitation of Rheumatological Diseases). We are at the forefront of the latest rehabilitation systems, both with conventional techniques (Bobath, Kabat, Perfetti method…), and the latest ones such as robotic exoskeletons, virtual reality and 3D gait study.

Therefore, we have cemented our position as a centre of reference in orthopaedic and neurological treatment in AragĆ³n. We have been working with our patients on a technological platform for telerehabilitation which allows us to design therapies with and without a sensor.

Thanks to this methodology rehabilitation results improved in more than 70-80% in patients with medullar injury or cerebrovascular accident for instance, in comparison with regular techniques. We were encouraged to urgently improve our patientsā€™ attention due to COVID-19 pandemic, especially when most of them live isolated in rural areas far from medical treatment and advice.

At that point, we developed an Immersive Virtual Reality (IVR) project. IVR has been widely used in education, training and psychological therapies, and it is being increasingly applied in neurological pathologies, improving, not only evaluations and interventions but also, patientā€™s motivation to achieve the highest level of functional improvement. Therefore, we have no doubts that it can become a feasible and beneficial tool for rehabilitation.

Our proposal shows a significant degree of humanization of this technique, besides fulfilling a dual function. On one hand, personalizing patientsā€™ rehabilitation environment, where they take part of their own recovery process which leads to great relief of the loneliness feeling and improving adherence to rehabilitation treatment.

In addition, by working globally on the patientā€™s physical-motor-cognitive capacity (considering movement not only as a simple muscular contraction but also as a result of a complex activation that grows in the brain activity), the professional obtains a large range of inputs to work with, to improve or readjust constantly the treatment.

  • We offer you our expertise on physical-motor-cognitive movement. And we are looking for partners who can design and manufacture:
  • 1) Realistic and immersive three-dimensional virtual environments.
  • 2) Virtual reality glasses and motion capture system (both hardware and software) accurate, portable, easy to use and reusable and/or easy to disinfect.

Euleria Health was born in February 2020 with the aim of creating innovative solutions that lead patients and professionals towards a more measurable and accessible rehabilitation, from the clinic to home. A difficult and ambitious task, in a world that was literally transforming itself under the blows of the pandemic, but which we decided to carry out with courage and determination.

In 2022, after the great results reached in 2020 and 2021, I.A.C.E.R. srl, a leading company in home therapies, invested in Euleria Health and entered the company structure, bringing together with the current partners, new finance necessary to develop and transform the tele-rehabilitation market in Europe.

Euleria Health offering is composed by two lines of medical devices, graded class 1/m, Riablo and Kari. All products and services are based on inertial measurement units (thanks to the strong partnership with Movella Xsens) and interactive software entirely developed internally.

Riablo is a tool aimed at supporting the professional in rehabilitation and reactivation and in patient evaluation. Riablo supports the professional thanks to the measurement and consequent objectification of the activities related to the exercise therapy to be carried out in the clinic.

Kari is a tool designed to help professionals support home exercise therapy for patients of various kinds. The app for the patient provides a video guide of all the exercises to be performed, and a simple real-time feedback obtained from the sensor worn and connected via bluetooth.

At the end of each exercise, the patient receives a score proportional to the ability to perform the movement correctly both in terms of amplitude and consistency with the timing shown by the video.

Expectations:

  • Euleria Health has a strong background in rehabilitation and tele-rehabilitation, with a great expertise in software design and development. The team has already successfully participated and completed other PCPs projects on tele-rehabilitation and fragile patients.
